The Montana Lakes Conference gathers diverse resource professionals to exchange information, scientific advancements, and management strategies to promote clean and healthy lake and reservoir ecosystems. Participants from academia, nonprofit, government, business and the public discuss improving Montana’s lake health through science and monitoring advances, watershed restoration, policy innovation, and collaborative stakeholder involvement. Participants celebrate Montana’s lakes, exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences, and introduced new approaches to help manage and protect our lakes. Attendees are immersed in innovative, practical, and applied lake management techniques and current research. In addition to the formal program, networking opportunities allow attendees with varied experiences to compare notes and collaborate on important lake management issues.
